Tell us a little bit about you and the work you do!
I run Positive Orange, a vibrant virtual assistant service for neurodivergent business owners who want to build bold, beautiful businesses without burning out. I’m all about bright ideas, marketing magic, and making tech feel less terrifying. I also offer accountability coaching for ADHD entrepreneurs who need structure that actually works for their brains. Basically, I’m the cheerleader with a to-do list and a spreadsheet.
What’s something that made you laugh out loud or feel unexpectedly joyful recently?
I was at Download festival recently and it was scorching hot sunshine all day. During Green Day’s set in Wake Me Up When September Ends, when Billy Joe sang ‘here comes the rain again, falling from the sky’ and it *actually started raining*. An incredibly magic moment that made me feel grateful to be alive!
What do you love doing when you’re not working?
Gigs, festivals, swimming in the sea, eating delicious food and going on adventures with my two rescue dogs!
How do you unwind and recharge when life gets busy (or a bit much)?
I like to do a little ‘dopamine tidy’ — which is code for putting on a silly playlist and tidying my space until it’s not stressful to look at anymore. Also: baths, candles, and watching raccoon videos with my ADHD clients (it’s become a thing).
Got a book you’d recommend to a friend?
Rest Is Resistance by Tricia Hersey. I cried, highlighted, and then made a Canva quote post about it. It’s honestly life-changing if you’re trying to unhook from hustle culture.

Are you a podcast person?
Absolutely. ADHD for Smart Ass Women is a fave — it’s full of “OH MY GOD IT’S ME” moments. I also love The Lazy Genius for permission to do things your own way.
Any brilliant websites, newsletters or online corners of joy we should check out?
The Anti-Burnout Club has some fab resources. And I always peek at The Nap Ministry’s Instagram when I need a reset. Also… shout out to Canva. I basically live there.
Have you learned anything new lately that sparked your curiosity or excitement?
Yes! I’ve been learning how to use Notion in a super ADHD-friendly way — mixing structure with flexibility. It feels like building a tiny digital brain-palace and I’m obsessed.
Do you have some clothes or a particular outfit that makes you feel good? Why?
Generally anything brightly coloured or joyful!
What’s your favourite smell? Why?
The smell of the sea. The beach is definitely a happy place and its really calming and nostalgic all in one!

What TV or film do you find entertaining? What would you recommend?
Heartstopper for queer joy. Good Omens for weirdness and excellent coats. And Everything Everywhere All At Once made me cry in the best way.
What’s your favourite meal? Why? Does it have any significance?
A picky plate with fancy cheese, crunchy things, and at least one small ridiculous dip. It makes me feel fancy and five years old at the same time.
Who would you recommend we follow on social media? Why?
@ADHDbabes – a beautiful, empowering community for Black women and non-binary folks with ADHD. @meganjaynecrabbe for body neutrality and honesty. And @michelleleman for all things self-worth.
What are you doing in your photo?
Laughing at myself while trying to take a “serious business owner” photo!
Do you have any tips for how we can spread more kindness and happiness?
Be radically gentle with yourself first, it ripples outwards. Compliment people’s earrings. Share memes. Send voice notes full of chaos and love!
